2 Day Circus Camp - Ages 10-17 Years Old

Wednesday 08/03/2016 Wednesday 08/10/2016 From: 9:30 am - 11:30 am . CIRCUS CAMP Ages 10-17 Campers meet twice for 2 hours $120 This camp is great for youth ages 10-17 to have fun, build confidence, and learn the art of circus! Registration and medical forms must be completed online and at the studio by parent and or legal guardian before the first class. Parents are welcome to wait in the lobby for students during sessions. During the last 15 minutes of each class, parents will be invited into the main studio to observe the skills learned. Airotique instructors will start class with Acro style warmups, stretching, and core conditioning. Students will learn balance, coordination, and basic skills on various aerial apparatuses, and with circus props such as the rolling globe, poi, and hula hoops. There might even be time for a little Circus/Theatre improv. On the last day of class, Airotique will take an individual student picture and group shot for a camp keepsake. Campers are asked to wear footless tights or yoga pants and t-shirts or leotards. Please - NO shorts, midriff shirts, studs, zippers, lotions, oils, jewelry, hair bobby pins, Food, drinks, cameras, and phones are not permitted in the studio area. All that is needed is imagination and energy!
